Today during our OTTS leadership meeting, the discussion focused on supply chain planning, quality, inventory control, and 3PL's lack of value-added services and being deficient in customer service.
In addition, too, some of our clients and potential clients are advising us @OTTSinc they are struggling with delivery, "Order Fillrates,"Service Fallrates," and On-time delivery" Vital indicators (KPIs) management needs to know to drive their business forward!
We also got into a lengthy conversation about how we have all noticed seeing a lot of empty shelves at our local grocery stores, at our Big retailers, and at our pharmacies on everyday items.
We get it! That there is a global pandemic, and the demand for consumer goods has drastically increased.
